Final notes before the 2026 NBA Draft begins.

  • What might happen if AJ Dybantsa isn’t the first overall pick?
  • Well, based on Darryn Peterson not visiting the Utah Jazz, I think it’s possible that he could go No. 1 to the Washington Wizards and Dybantsa falls to No. 2. Also, Cameron Boozer did meet with the Jazz and his dad Carlos works for the team (shouldn’t matter that much), so you can’t count him out at 2 if AJ’s selected 1st. The biggest surprise to me would be if Boozer gets picked 1st, Peterson heads to Utah at 2, and Dybantsa ends up 3rd to the Memphis Grizzlies.
  • You definitely question where Aday Mara gets drafted to if the Atlanta Hawks don’t select him at No. 8. Will the 2026 NCAA national champion end up in the top ten or get picked later? 
  • Lastly, do Mara’s former Michigan teammates Yaxel Lendeborg & Morez Johnson Jr. hear their names called in the lottery as well?
