Collin Gillespie is expected to remain with the Phoenix Suns after agreeing to a four-year, $48 million contract, according to ESPN.

The deal caps off a steady rise for the guard, who entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Villanova in 2022.

After spending his first three NBA seasons on two-way contracts, Gillespie established himself as a regular member of Phoenix’s rotation and earned a long-term commitment from the organization.

His agents, Jordan Gertler and James Dunleavy of Excel Sports Management, negotiated the agreement with the Suns after teams were allowed to begin talks with their own free agents last weekend.

Gillespie became one of the Suns’ most dependable players last season and played a key role in the team’s identity.

His performance earned him increased minutes and a larger role throughout the year.

The 26-year-old enjoyed the best season of his career, appearing in 80 games while setting a franchise record with 232 made three-pointers.

He also averaged career highs of 12.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
