Collin Gillespie has quietly put together a breakout campaign with the Phoenix Suns, and his strong play is starting to draw attention around the league.
The 26-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026, and rival executives believe his next contract could land in a similar range to the three-year, $27 million deal Ty Jerome signed with Memphis this past offseason, according to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.
Around the league, teams are keeping an eye on both Gillespie and Jerome, but that interest hasn’t translated into major movement involving Cleveland.
The Cavaliers, per Fischer and consistent with reporting from Brett Siegel, have not shown any willingness to explore in-season trades centered around Darius Garland or Jarrett Allen.
Meanwhile, attention has also turned toward New York, where Tyler Kolek’s strong recent stretch has sparked new questions among rival teams.
His emergence has some wondering whether the Knicks may shift their focus toward adding frontcourt depth before the deadline rather than pursuing a veteran point guard.
For now, it remains unclear which direction the Knicks will ultimately choose as they evaluate their roster needs.
The Clippers are still working with Chris Paul's representatives to find his next team: https://t.co/xkv5xpFRnk
