FC Barcelona Bàsquet has denied recent reports linking the club to alternative coaching candidates, including Ibon Navarro of Unicaja.

The club stated that no meetings or negotiations with other coaches have taken place and emphasized that its full focus remains on continuing the current project.

Barcelona also referenced comments from general manager Juan Carlos Navarro, who previously expressed strong support for current head coach Xavi Pascual.

According to the club, Pascual remains the only coach being considered to lead the team moving forward.

Barcelona finished ninth in the EuroLeague regular season with a 21-17 record before being eliminated by AS Monaco Basket in the Play-In Showdown.

The team currently holds a 22-9 record in Liga Endesa and is tied for second place with three games remaining before the playoffs.
