De’Aaron Fox has been listed as questionable for Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

Fox’s injury status reportedly changed within a matter of hours. He was first listed with soreness in his left ankle, though San Antonio later updated the injury report to state the issue involves his right ankle instead.

The San Antonio Spurs guard completed his first full season with the franchise after signing a four-year maximum contract extension last August.

During the regular season, Fox averaged 18.6 points, 6.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 72 games while earning his second NBA All-Star selection.

Fox has struggled offensively in the second-round series against Minnesota, averaging 16.8 points, 4.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals while shooting 37.9% from the field through the first four games.

The series is currently tied 2-2 heading into Game 5.

If Fox is unable to play, rookie guard Dylan Harper is expected to take on a larger offensive role, including additional ball-handling and playmaking responsibilities.
