Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar improved its roster by inking small forward Mardy Collins to a one-year deal on Wednesday.

Collins (1.98 meters, 31 years old) earned All-Eurocup first team honors last year, leading Strasbourg all the way to the Eurocup Finals. He averaged 13 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 14 Eurocup games last season.

Collins also played the 2015-16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague with Strasbourg, averaging 7.6 points and 2.5 assists in 10 games. Collins also shined in the 2014-15 Eurocup with PGE Turow Zgorzelec, averaging 16.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.3 steals in 8 appearances too.

Collins was 1 assist short of a triple-double in his Eurocup debut and was the 2014-15 Eurocup Last 32 Round 4 MVP after recording a performance index rating of 40 in a road win at Telenet Ostend. Lokomotiv will be Collins’s third straight Eurocup campaign with as many different teams, and he also played the 2013-14 Euroleague with Olympiacos Piraeus.

Collins played with New York in the NBA from 2006 to 2008 after playing college basketball at Temple University. He has also played for Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA, Bornova Bld in Turkey, Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing in China, Los Angeles and Iowa in the D-League, Maccabi Ashdod in Israel, Guaros de Lara in Venezuela and Sutor Montegranaro in Italy.
