Doncic’s season led a leaderboard that again featured international stars near the top. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished second at 31.1 points per game, while Anthony Edwards ranked third at 28.8 and Jaylen Brown was fourth at 28.7.
The five-year sequence underscores how much the league’s scoring apex has shifted. Before 2021-22, no international player had ever won the NBA scoring title, and now the streak includes Doncic twice, Gilgeous-Alexander once, and Joel Embiid twice.
Doncic’s 2025-26 output also reflected how complete his game has become. He ranked third in assists per game at 8.3 and sixth in steals at 1.6, giving the Lakers’ star another season that combined high-volume scoring with top-tier playmaking and disruption.
The leaderboard also showed how many international names are driving the league’s offense and overall production. Nikola Jokic finished eighth in scoring at 27.7 points per game and led the NBA in rebounds at 12.9 and assists at 10.7, while Victor Wembanyama placed 13th in scoring at 25.0 and led the league in blocks at 3.1.
Other international players also filled key scoring spots, with Deni Avdija at 24.2 points per game and Pascal Siakam at 24.0. That depth helps explain why the NBA’s scoring title has become an international showcase rather than a one-player anomaly.
The list also featured established stars such as Kevin Durant, Jalen Brunson and Devin Booker, but the top of the race belonged to Doncic again.
