The San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets face injury challenges as they prepare to meet at Ball Arena in Denver on Saturday, April 4 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The Spurs will be without David Jones Garcia, who is sidelined for the season following right ankle surgery, and Emanuel Miller, who remains on a two-way G League contract.

Denver’s injury list is more extensive. Spencer Jones and Zeke Nnaji are out with a right hamstring strain and left hip sprain, respectively, while Peyton Watson also misses action due to a right hamstring strain. Tim Hardaway Jr. is listed as probable with left knee soreness.

San Antonio enters the game riding an 11-game winning streak. Victor Wembanyama leads the team with 24.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks per game, while De’Aaron Fox contributes 18.5 points and 6.2 assists per contest. Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson add consistent perimeter scoring, shooting 38.9% and 38.2% from beyond the arc, respectively.

The Nuggets have won seven of their last ten games. Nikola Jokic averages 27.7 points, 13 rebounds, and 10.8 assists, while Jamal Murray contributes 25.6 points and 7.1 assists per game. Christian Braun and Cameron Johnson provide additional perimeter threats, combining for nearly 24 points per contest.

In their previous two meetings this season, the Spurs won a close contest at Denver 139-136 on November 28, while the Nuggets edged San Antonio 136-131 on March 12.

Saturday’s game could play a pivotal role in the Western Conference playoff seeding, with the Spurs holding a 59-18 record and the Nuggets at 49-28.
