Dirk Nowitzki looks set to end his illustrious career with the Dallas Mavericks after reportedly signing a new two-year deal with the 2011 NBA champions.
ESPN basketball reporter Marc Stein broke the news as the two parties finalise a two-year deal worth approximately $50million [€45.5million].
Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs have finalized his new contract, with Dallas upping the deal to $50 million over two years, league sources say.

Nowitzki, now 38 could pass the 20-year mark on his NBA career after being picked in the 1998 Draft as the ninth selection in the first round. He is currently sixth in the all-time scorers table with 29,491 points, that makes him the highest European scorer in history.
The recently retired German international, who made his final appearance at Eurobasket 2015, won the NBA title and Finals MVP in 2011.
