The New Orleans Pelicans visit the New York Knicks on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, with both teams releasing their official injury reports ahead of the 7:30 p.m. ET matchup.

New York enters the game riding a six-game winning streak and holds the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference at 47–25. New Orleans sits 11th in the Western Conference at 25–47 and continues to play spoiler late in the regular season.

The Pelicans’ injury report remains relatively short but includes one rotational guard. Bryce McGowens has been ruled out with a right small toe fracture. McGowens has appeared in 42 games this season and is averaging 8.1 points in 21.0 minutes per game.

Four Pelicans players are also listed as out due to G League assignments on two-way deals. Trey Alexander, Hunter Dickinson and Josh Oduro will not be available for the matchup in New York.

Despite the limited injury list, New Orleans continues to rely heavily on its core scorers. Trey Murphy III leads the team with 21.8 points per game while shooting 38.4 percent from three-point range.

Zion Williamson remains the focal point inside the arc. The forward is averaging 21.3 points on 59.8 percent shooting while adding 5.8 rebounds per game.

The Pelicans also recently added playmaking through veteran guard Dejounte Murray, who is averaging 18.7 points and 6.2 assists across 10 appearances with the team.

New York’s injury report features two confirmed absences in the backcourt. Miles McBride is out after undergoing pelvic and core muscle surgery. McBride has played 35 games this season and is averaging 12.9 points while shooting 42.0 percent from three-point range.

Landry Shamet will also miss the game due to a right knee tibial plateau contusion. The veteran guard is averaging 9.6 points per game while shooting 38.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Three additional Knicks players are listed as questionable due to G League two-way assignments. Trey Jemison III, Dillon Jones and Kevin McCullar Jr. are all uncertain for Tuesday’s contest.

Even with the injuries, New York’s starting lineup remains intact. Jalen Brunson leads the offense with 26.1 points and 6.6 assists per game.

Karl-Anthony Towns anchors the frontcourt with 20.2 points and 12.0 rebounds per game, while OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges provide two-way production on the wings.

The Knicks defeated the Washington Wizards 145–113 in their most recent game and have won seven of their last ten contests.

The Pelicans are coming off a 111–106 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers but had previously beaten the Los Angeles Clippers 105–99.

Tuesday’s game marks the second meeting between the teams this season. New York won the first matchup 130–125 in New Orleans on December 29.
