The Sacramento Kings will enter Tuesday’s road game against the Charlotte Hornets with a lengthy injury report that could significantly impact their rotation at Spectrum Center.
Sacramento listed several key contributors as unavailable for the March 24 matchup, including Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, and Keegan Murray.
Sabonis remains out following left knee meniscus repair, removing the team’s top rebounder and interior facilitator from the lineup. The Lithuanian center averages 15.8 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 19 appearances this season.
LaVine will also miss the contest due to tendon repair in his right fifth finger. The veteran guard has averaged 19.2 points per game while shooting 39.0 percent from three across 39 games this season.
Murray is sidelined with a left ankle sprain. The forward has produced 14.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game in 23 starts this season.
Russell Westbrook is out with right foot soreness after averaging 15.2 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.4 rebounds in 64 games. Sacramento will also be without De’Andre Hunter, who is recovering from retinal repair surgery, and Drew Eubanks following left thumb UCL repair.
Two Kings players carry questionable designations entering the game. Precious Achiuwa is dealing with lower back soreness, while Killian Hayes is listed with left foot soreness.
Achiuwa has averaged 9.3 points and 6.5 rebounds across 64 games, often filling a defensive and rebounding role in the frontcourt.
Daeqwon Plowden is probable with right foot soreness after averaging 9.1 points in 22 games, providing perimeter scoring depth.
Charlotte’s injury report is shorter, though it still includes several unavailable players. Forward Tidjane Salaun will miss the game with a left calf strain, while Tosan Evbuomwan, PJ Hall, and Antonio Reeves remain assigned to the G League on two-way contracts.
Pat Connaughton is listed as questionable due to illness.
Rookie forward Kon Knueppel is probable with lower back soreness. The 20-year-old has averaged 19.1 points while shooting 43.4 percent from three-point range in 70 games.
Charlotte enters the matchup with momentum after consecutive home wins over the Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat.
The Hornets currently hold a 37-34 record and sit 10th in the Eastern Conference, positioning them in the play-in race.
Sacramento, meanwhile, is 19-53 and already eliminated from postseason contention in the Western Conference.
The Hornets defeated the Kings 117-109 in their previous meeting on March 11 in Sacramento.
Charlotte’s offense is led by Brandon Miller’s 20.4 points per game and LaMelo Ball’s 19.7 points with 7.1 assists. Miles Bridges adds 17.3 points per game while contributing across multiple categories.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET in Charlotte.
