Bennedict Mathurin is continuing to make progress in his recovery for the Los Angeles Clippers, as reported by Grant Mona of the Sporting Tribune.

Mathurin was sidelined for the team’s recent three-game road trip due to a right big toe injury, but head coach Tyronn Lue provided a positive update on his status.

“He’s getting better,” Lue said. “He got on the court yesterday and shot, and he shot again this morning. But he’ll be out tonight.”

Since being traded to the Clippers, the player has averaged 19.9 points and 5.9 assists per game.

Mathurin has played 4 seasons for the Pacers and Clippers. He has averaged 16.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in 253 regular-season games.
