Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen will miss the team’s upcoming three-game road trip as he continues recovering from right knee tendonitis, the team announced (Twitter link).

He has already been sidelined for the past five games after suffering the injury in the second half of a March 3 win over Detroit.

Allen has been an important part of Cleveland’s lineup this season, averaging 15.3 points and 8.5 rebounds.

The Cavs are 33-18 with him playing but just 8-9 without him, including a 2-3 record during his current absence.

The team also provided updates on two injured guards. Craig Porter Jr. is expected to miss one to three weeks after an MRI confirmed a left groin strain suffered Friday against Dallas.

Tyrese Proctor will also miss the road trip due to a right quad strain, having already been out for five games.

Cleveland currently sits at 41-27, good for the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.
