Philadelphia 76ers swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. will undergo a medical re-evaluation in approximately two weeks following a sprain of the lateral collateral ligament in his left elbow, NBA insider Michael Scotto reported on Wednesday. The injury occurred during Tuesday’s 139-129 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Oubre, 30, has appeared in 41 games this season, averaging 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 36.1% from three-point range. His absence creates a gap in the Sixers’ wing rotation as they push toward the playoffs.

Philadelphia currently holds the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-30 record, just ahead of the Atlanta Hawks. Maintaining consistency in scoring and defense will be crucial as the team navigates the final stretch of the regular season.

Tyrese Maxey has led the team with 29 points per game, and Joel Embiid contributes 26.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest. Paul George adds 16 points and five rebounds per game, while VJ Edgecombe averages 15.4 points in 35.1 minutes.

The 76ers face several key matchups over the next two weeks. How the team adjusts its rotation without Oubre could influence playoff positioning and seeding in the Eastern Conference.
