Seth Curry was active for Monday’s matchup in Utah, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr confirmed before the game, according to Nick Friedell of The Athletic.

Curry had been sidelined for more than three months due to sciatic nerve irritation on his left side. After previously being listed as probable, he was upgraded to available on the injury report ahead of the contest.

A 12-year veteran, Curry has appeared in just two games for Golden State since rejoining the team on December 1.

The 35-year-old participated in training camp and the preseason with the Warriors but was waived before the 2025/26 season began because his veteran minimum salary would have exceeded the second-apron hard cap.

Curry played twice before the injury. In his December 2 debut, he scored 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting with two rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 18 minutes.

He followed that performance with zero points on 0-of-2 shooting, along with two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 14 minutes on Dec. 4, and had not played again until now.

The 6-foot-1 guard is the younger brother of Stephen Curry, though the two have not appeared in a game together this season. Stephen Curry remains sidelined with a right knee injury.

Moses Moody and Will Richard remained out for Golden State, while veterans Al Horford and Kristaps Porzingis were also sidelined.

Kerr expressed optimism that Horford and Porzingis could return for the team’s next game against Chicago, Friedell adds.
