Nikola Vucevic has undergone a surgical procedure to repair a fracture in his right ring finger and is projected to be sidelined for approximately three to four weeks, the Boston Celtics announced Saturday.

The veteran center sustained the injury during Boston’s 120-100 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday evening.

Vucevic was forced to exit early after logging only two minutes of playing time before the issue was identified.

Despite his limited action in that contest, Vucevic has been a steady contributor for the Celtics this season.

Across 12 appearances, he has averaged 11.4 points and 7.8 rebounds while playing 23.5 minutes per game.
