Alex Abrines is reportedly on his way out of Barcelona and en route to Oklahoma City Thunder.
The buyout for Abrines’ contract, which runs out in 2019 is worth a reported €2million. According to NBA rules, the Thunder can contribute up to $650.000 [€58,700] for the buy out and the rest has to be paid by the player himself.
And with the possible signing of Victor Claver, the departure of Tomas Satoransky and with a new head coach in Georgios Bartzokas coming in, Abrines might feel that the time is right.
The 22-year-old was the number 32 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Thunder.
