LeBron James addressed Los Angeles’ 110-109 loss to Orlando, saying, “I don’t know. I mean, there’s a lot of plays, obviously, a lot of bang bang plays to finish that game off. We made shots. You know, we couldn’t get that two possession. We go up three, they come down, hit a three, we go up three again, they come down, get an and one, we go up two, they take the lead. It was just like couldn’t get a key stop.”

Discussing the final offensive possession, James explained, “I thought we had a good opportunity. Luka came off clean and I think he felt off balance, but we executed. We didn’t get the shot that we wanted. We executed and just ain’t going to… That’s my PB.”

On how the team responded to the loss, he said, “When you play the right way, we played together. We played hard enough to win. It’s going to be lost. So, it’s just… But like I obviously it’s the loss.”

Reflecting on squandered leads, James noted, “You got close quarters better. This is your longest home stand. Probably one of the longest home stands we’ll have this season.”

Evaluating the team’s growth over recent weeks, he admitted, “I don’t know. I don’t even know what today was when I woke up… Think about something that happened three weeks ago in this league is… it’s hard to even do it.”

On his teammates’ performances, James praised Deandre Ayton, saying, “Obviously sometimes he has it going and when he does have it going we try to find him and tonight I thought we did a great job of doing that. And I let him play great.”
