Suns guard Jordan Goodwin sustained a left calf injury during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s victory over Orlando and underwent an MRI the following day, which confirmed a left calf strain, according to Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic.

The injury adds to a growing list of health concerns for Phoenix, which has recently been hit hard by absences.

The team is already without its top two scorers, Devin Booker, who is dealing with a right hip strain, and Dillon Brooks, who suffered a left hand fracture, further testing the Suns’ depth as the season progresses.

Although the exact timetable for Goodwin’s return has not yet been announced, calf strains typically require multiple weeks of recovery rather than a short absence.

More clarity is expected once the team provides an official update regarding the severity of the injury and his rehabilitation plan.

Goodwin has played an important role in Phoenix’s rotation during the 2025/26 season, appearing in 54 games while averaging 8.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals in 22.4 minutes per game.

The 27-year-old is also approaching a significant offseason, as he is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
