Stephen Curry has been sidelined since January 30 while dealing with what has been described as “runner’s knee,” and the uncertainty surrounding his recovery has made the situation particularly difficult, according to Ron Kroichick of The San Francisco Chronicle.

Without a clear timetable for his return, Curry continues to focus on rehabilitation while waiting for further medical evaluation.

The Golden State Warriors star is scheduled to be reevaluated on March 1, meaning he will miss at least another week of game action as the team carefully monitors his progress.

The lack of a firm return date has added to the frustration, as Curry works toward regaining full health during a crucial stretch of the season.

Despite the setback, the player emphasized that the team’s priority remains long-term readiness rather than rushing back too soon.

“We all know the goal is to be healthy come play-in or playoff time, whatever it is,” Curry said.

“We kind of know where we’re slotted in the standings right now. A lot has happened this year, so we just want to get in a playoff series and have a chance.”

Curry has played 17 seasons for the Warriors. He has averaged 24.8 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.7 rebounds in 1,065 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 11 All-Star games. He has won 2 MVP awards, 1 Finals MVP award, and 4 NBA championships.
