The Golden State Warriors have recently seen strong contributions from Moses Moody, whose improved play has provided a boost on both ends of the floor.
According to Joaquin Ruiz of NBC Sports Bay Area, Moody delivered an impressive performance Sunday, finishing with 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists while continuing his productive stretch of games.
Long recognized as one of Golden State’s most reliable perimeter defenders, Moody has added more offensive production to his game in recent weeks.
Since the beginning of January, he has averaged 13.1 points per game, showing increased confidence and consistency as part of the rotation.
Head coach Steve Kerr highlighted Moody’s overall development and steady impact, emphasizing how valuable he has been during the past several weeks.
“Moses has been brilliant for six weeks,” Kerr said. “You know, he’s shooting the lights out … the confidence; he’s maybe been our most consistent performer.
“His on-ball defense; he’s top of the league against pick-and-roll. And he’s such a great teammate. He’s there for you every night, the way he works.”
Moody has played 5 seasons for the Warriors. He has averaged 7.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in 310 regular-season games. He has won 1 NBA championship.
ICYMI: The Warriors have needed contributions throughout the roster while their stars are sidelined, and Brandin Podziemski delivered in a big way on Sunday. That + more on the Warriors. https://t.co/3UO5KZus8N
