The Washington Wizards are converting big man Tristan Vukcevic to a standard NBA contract, signing him to a three-year deal worth $9 million after he spent this season on a two-way agreement with the team.

The 7-foot frontcourt player has been part of the Wizards organization across portions of the past three seasons.

Washington originally selected Vukcevic in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft, and he joined the roster late during the 2023-24 campaign.

He remained with the team on a two-way contract last season and returned under a similar arrangement this year before earning the new multi-year deal.

In 35 appearances this season, Vukcevic has averaged 7.9 points and 2.7 rebounds while playing 12.3 minutes per game.

The center/forward has also been efficient offensively, shooting 47.8% from the field overall.
