The Orlando Magic visit the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, February 21, with both teams managing key injuries ahead of a 3:00 PM MT tipoff at Footprint Center in Phoenix. The matchup marks their first meeting of the season and carries playoff implications for both conferences.

Orlando enters at 29-26, seventh in the Eastern Conference, while Phoenix sits 33-23, seventh in the West. The Magic are coming off a 131-94 road win over the Sacramento Kings, while the Suns dropped their last two games by double digits.

The injury report could significantly shape rotations. Orlando lists Franz Wagner as out due to a left high ankle sprain under injury management, and Jalen Suggs is questionable with back spasms. Colin Castleton and Alex Morales remain out on G League two-way assignments.

Wagner’s absence removes a 21.3-point-per-game scorer who also averages 5.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists. His scoring efficiency at 47.9% from the field and 36.5% from three has been central to Orlando’s half-court offense.

Suggs’ status is also critical, as he averages 13.9 points and 5.4 assists while defending opposing guards at the point of attack. If he cannot play, Anthony Black and Desmond Bane would likely handle expanded playmaking responsibilities alongside Paolo Banchero, who leads the team with 21.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Phoenix will be without its leading scorer, Devin Booker, who is sidelined with a right hip strain. Booker averages 24.7 points and 6.1 assists while shooting 45.4% from the field, making his absence a major offensive gap.

Grayson Allen is listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain, and Cole Anthony and Haywood Highsmith are out. Allen averages 17.0 points and shoots 36.9% from three, so his availability will affect spacing around Dillon Brooks and Mark Williams.

Brooks is averaging 21.2 points per game and could assume a larger offensive role. Williams provides interior efficiency at 65.4% shooting while pulling down 8.1 rebounds per contest.
