The Washington Wizards provided an updated injury report Thursday on guard Trae Young, indicating continued progress in his recovery following the All-Star break.

Young has been sidelined with a right knee MCL sprain along with a quad contusion but showed encouraging signs during his latest evaluation.

The team has cleared him to increase his on-court activity, with another update expected within one week.

The guard has appeared in only 10 games this season and has yet to make his debut for Washington since being acquired in a trade from the Atlanta Hawks.

The Wizards did not announce a specific timetable for his return, though the latest update suggests he may be moving closer to game action.
