The Washington Wizards also released an update on Anthony Davis, whose return remains uncertain as he continues recovering from ligament damage in his left hand.

Davis was evaluated by Dr. Steven Shin at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with the team stating that his recovery is progressing as expected.

However, he has not yet been cleared to resume any basketball activities.

The veteran big man will be reevaluated in two weeks, with further updates to follow as needed.

Davis appeared in 20 games this season before the injury sidelined him.

The Wizards did not provide a target return date for Davis as he continues working through the recovery process.
