The Philadelphia 76ers have signed forward Jabari Walker to a two-year contract, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Earlier this month, Walker reached the 50-game active limit for two-way players, which forced him to sit out Philadelphia’s final four games before the All-Star break.
The Sixers created roster space by trading Jared McCain for a draft pick and dealing Eric Gordon for the draft rights to Justinian Jessup, allowing both Walker and Dominick Barlow to be converted to standard contracts.
Barlow previously signed a two-year deal with a team option on February 5.
Walker, who spent his first three seasons with Portland, earned a regular role in coach Nick Nurse’s rotation after joining Philadelphia on a two-way contract.
The 23-year-old forward provides defensive versatility and energy, though he has struggled from three-point range, shooting 27.0 percent this season.
Philadelphia is also adding veteran guard Cameron Payne to fill the final roster spot.
Even after completing both signings, the Sixers are expected to remain below the luxury tax line, maintaining flexibility for a potential future move.
