Washington Wizards center Alex Sarr is expected to be sidelined for about two weeks after suffering a strain in his right hamstring.

As a result, Sarr will be unable to participate in the Rising Stars Challenge during NBA All-Star Weekend.

In his second NBA season, Sarr has been one of Washington’s most consistent performers, averaging 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game.

He is shooting 49.6 percent from the field and has emerged as one of the few positives for the Wizards this year.
