Georgios Bartzokas has agreed a three-year to become the new head coach of Barcelona.
Bartzokas, who guided Lokomotiv Kuban to the Euroleague Final Four last season, takes the reigns from Xavi Pascual, and the 51-year-old Greek native will be presented as new coach towards the end of July.
Bartzokas’ accomplishments include winning the Euroleague and FIBA intercontinental cup with Olympiacos in 2013.
