Stephen Curry will not take part in next weekend’s All-Star Game because of a right knee issue, the Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced on Monday.

Curry was sidelined for Golden State’s win over Memphis on Monday as he continues to deal with patellofemoral pain syndrome, commonly referred to as runner’s knee.

The injury has now kept him out for four consecutive games.

The star guard is also set to miss Wednesday’s matchup against San Antonio as the team continues to prioritize his recovery.

Despite the recent absences, the Warriors remain optimistic that Curry will be able to return to action when they host the Celtics on February 19.
