Los Angeles Lakers agreed to a two-year contract with Kobe Bufkin on Saturday, according to sources who spoke with Shams Charania of ESPN.

The deal includes a team option for the 2026-27 season, giving Los Angeles flexibility moving forward.

Bufkin earned the opportunity after a strong run with the South Bay Lakers, where he was one of the league’s most productive scorers.

During his time in the G League this season, Bufkin averaged 24.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, consistently showcasing his offensive ability.

His signing officially fills the Lakers’ 15th and final roster spot.
