The San Antonio Spurs have given Jeremy Sochan’s camp approval to gauge the trade market for the forward, according to sources who spoke with Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
The move signals that San Antonio is open to listening on potential deals involving the player as the deadline approaches.
Sochan has played in 27 games this season, but his role has been more limited than in prior years, as he’s averaging a career-low 13.1 minutes per game.
His production has dipped along with the reduced playing time, as he’s posting 4.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest, also career lows, while shooting just 25.7% from three-point range.
Despite Sochan’s struggles to carve out a consistent role, the Spurs have thrived overall.
San Antonio currently sits second in the Western Conference with a 31-15 record, giving the front office flexibility as it weighs roster decisions moving forward.
