The Golden State Warriors face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, January 25, with several key injuries influencing the matchup at Target Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 PM ET as both teams attempt to halt ongoing losing streaks.

Golden State enters the game with a 25-21 record after back-to-back losses, while Minnesota stands at 27-18 despite dropping four straight contests.

The Warriors’ injury report is headlined by Stephen Curry, who is listed as questionable due to right knee soreness. Curry is averaging 27.4 points per game while shooting 39.2 percent from three, and his availability would significantly impact Golden State’s offensive spacing.

Jimmy Butler III is out for the season after suffering a right ACL tear, removing a 20.0-point scorer and primary perimeter defender from the rotation. Jonathan Kuminga is also unavailable due to left knee soreness, limiting Golden State’s frontcourt athleticism.

Seth Curry is out with left sciatic nerve irritation, while Al Horford and De’Anthony Melton are listed as available under injury management. Horford has provided frontcourt depth, while Melton has averaged 11.3 points in limited action.

Minnesota’s injury report is lighter but still notable. Terrence Shannon Jr. is ruled out with a left foot abductor hallucis strain, while Enrique Freeman and Rocco Zikarsky remain unavailable due to G League assignments.

The Timberwolves expect their core rotation to remain intact, led by Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle. Edwards is averaging 29.6 points per game on 49.5 percent shooting, while Randle adds 22.6 points and 7.0 rebounds.

Rudy Gobert continues to anchor the interior with 11.3 rebounds per game, helping Minnesota post a plus-1.9 rebounding margin on the season. The Timberwolves score 120.0 points per game, one of the top marks in the conference.

Both teams are coming off losses, with Golden State falling at Dallas and Minnesota dropping a home contest against Chicago. The Timberwolves also defeated the Warriors 127-120 in their lone previous meeting on December 12.
