Aaron Gordon was forced to exit the Denver Nuggets’ 102-100 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks late in the second quarter after injuring his hamstring and was unable to return.

Gordon had scored 13 points before the injury occurred.

The setback is particularly concerning given Gordon’s recent history, as he already missed more than a month earlier this season due to a hamstring strain.

Denver was shorthanded heading into the game, playing without several key contributors, including Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Christian Braun and Jonas Valanciunas, making Gordon’s early exit an added challenge as the Nuggets closed out a narrow win.
