Hugo Gonzalez forced the second overtime with a corner 3-pointer as time expired in the first extra period, connecting off a no-look pass from Baylor Scheierman.
Anfernee Simmons gave Boston the lead for good with a three-point play in the second OT, and Sam Hauser’s 3-pointer extended the advantage to 128-124 with 1:51 remaining.
Michael Porter Jr. scored 30 points and Nolan Traore added a career-high 21 for Brooklyn, but Nic Claxton’s late putback dunk could not prevent the Nets from dropping their ninth game in ten.
The Celtics led 101-91 late in the fourth quarter before Brooklyn closed regulation with a 13-3 run, forcing the first overtime. Pritchard’s 3-pointer and González’s tying shot were crucial in extending the game.
Boston shot 45 percent from the field, including 43 percent from three, while the Nets converted 44 percent of their attempts and made 13 of 44 from deep.
Brown completed his fifth career triple-double in the win, securing 10 rebounds and 12 assists alongside his scoring output.
Pritchard and Brown combined for 59 points, accounting for nearly half of Boston’s scoring.
The Celtics improved to 28-16, remaining second in the Eastern Conference, while the Nets fell to 12-31, holding the 13th spot in the East standings.
Boston will travel to Chicago on Saturday, and Brooklyn faces the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
