The Brooklyn Nets visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon with both teams navigating extensive injury reports and four-game losing streaks entering the matchup at FedExForum.

Brooklyn arrives at 11-24 and remains near the bottom of the Eastern Conference, while Memphis sits 16-22 and 10th in the West, searching for consistency amid repeated lineup disruptions.

The Nets will be without several rotation and depth players, starting with Michael Porter Jr., who is listed out for rest despite leading the team in scoring at 25.9 points per game. His absence removes Brooklyn’s primary shot creator and floor spacer from the wing.

Ziaire Williams is also unavailable due to illness, further thinning the Nets’ forward rotation against a physical Memphis frontcourt. Haywood Highsmith remains out as he continues recovery from right knee surgery.

Brooklyn’s injury report is rounded out by multiple two-way and G League assignments, including Tyson Etienne, Chaney Johnson, E.J. Liddell, and Ben Saraf, limiting backcourt and frontcourt depth options off the bench.

With Porter Jr. sidelined, increased offensive responsibility falls to Nic Claxton and Cam Thomas. Claxton averages 13.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists while anchoring the defense, while Thomas provides 19.6 points per game in limited appearances.

Memphis faces even more significant absences, headlined by Ja Morant, who remains out with a right calf contusion.

Frontcourt depth is also compromised with Brandon Clarke out due to a right calf strain and rookie center Zach Edey sidelined by a left ankle stress reaction.

Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. are both unavailable, further limiting guard depth, while John Konchar is listed as questionable as he continues recovery from left thumb surgery.

Despite the injuries, Jackson Jr. continues to provide stability with 18.6 points and 1.4 blocks per game, while Aldama averages 14.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in an expanded role. Jaylen Wells and Cedric Coward have also logged heavy minutes on the wing.

Both teams enter the contest following narrow losses on Friday, with Brooklyn falling 121-105 to the Clippers and Memphis dropping a one-point loss to Oklahoma City.
