Croatia have named a strong 12-man roster for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament as they bid to make their first Olympic appearance since the Beijing 2008 Games.

Since independence, Croatia have qualified for the Olympics three times with their best result coming in Barcelona in 1992, where they lost to the United States of America, famously dubbed, the Dream Team.

Bojan Bogdanovic, Mario Hezonja and Dario Saric are included, along with veterans, Roko Leni Ukic and Krunoslav Simon. Luka Babic, Rok Stipcevic, Filip Kruslin, Zeljko Sakic, Marko Arapović, Miro Bilan and Darko Planinic also feature.

Croatia will play against hosts Italy and Tunisia in Group B of the tournament. Two teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals and the winner of the tournament will get the ticket for the Olympics in Rio this August.
