The Orlando Magic visit the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, January 6, at Capital One Arena, tipping off at 7:00 p.m. ET. Orlando holds a 20-16 record, while Washington sits at 9-25.

The Magic enter the matchup on a one-game winning streak after defeating Indiana 135-127 on January 4. Washington is on a one-game skid, losing 115-141 to Minnesota.

Orlando leads the season series 1-0, winning 125-94 against Washington on November 1, 2025.

Orlando’s injury report includes Colin Castleton (out, G League – Two-Way), Franz Wagner (out, left high ankle sprain), Moritz Wagner (out, left knee), and Jalen Suggs (doubtful, right knee MCL contusion).

Washington will be without Kyshawn George (left hip flexor strain), Corey Kispert (left hamstring, injury management), and Cam Whitmore (right shoulder, deep vein thrombosis).

Orlando relies on Paolo Banchero, Desmond Bane, and Anthony Black to lead the offense. Banchero averages 21.0 points and 8.6 rebounds per game, while Bane contributes 19.3 points and 4.6 assists. Wendell Carter Jr. provides inside scoring and rim protection.

The Wizards lean on CJ McCollum and Alex Sarr, who average 18.6 and 17.2 points per game, respectively. Tre Johnson and Bilal Coulibaly will play larger roles in the absence of George, Kispert, and Whitmore.
