Dallas Mavericks halted a four-game skid Saturday thanks largely to standout outings from former Lakers Anthony Davis and Max Christie, as reported by Grant Afseth of Dallas Hoops Journal.

Davis anchored the win with a dominant all-around performance, tallying 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting, 12 rebounds, three assists, and five blocks while logging 39 minutes.

The stat line marked the 36th time in his career that he has reached at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks in a single game, a milestone that places him alongside Tim Duncan for the seventh-most such games in NBA history.

Christie continued an impressive recent stretch, as the 22-year-old has been producing at his highest level of the season over the last three contests.

During that span, he has averaged 22.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while shooting efficiently across the board.

On Saturday, he added 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds, while also throwing down three dunks.

Christie later joked about the highlight plays, acknowledging how unusual the night felt for him.

“Three might be the most of my career,” he said with a laugh. “It felt good to be athletic out there, to be able to attack the rim and get a couple of dunks.”
