FC Bayern Munich snapped a nine-game losing streak with a commanding 95-71 victory over Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv on Friday at SAP Garden. The German side showcased suffocating defense, holding one of the EuroLeague’s most potent offenses well below its season averages.

Maccabi entered the game averaging 90.3 points per contest, ranking third in assists (20.2 per game) and offensive rebounds (12.7 per game), but Bayern’s pressure limited them to just 71 points, 15 assists, eight offensive boards, and 17 turnovers. The key stretch came in the second and third quarters, when the visitors managed only 31 points.

Center David McCormack thrived under Svetislav Pesic’s system, scoring 18 points on 7-of-9 two-point shooting, grabbing seven rebounds, and adding three assists for a season-high Performance Index Rating of 27.

Oshae Brissett led Maccabi with 13 points and was the team’s only player to score in double digits.

The win improves Bayern’s record to 6-13, providing a crucial morale boost as the squad prepares for four home games out of the next five. The team will aim to build on this momentum when hosting Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz next Wednesday. Maccabi, meanwhile, faces FC Barcelona on Tuesday.
