Paris Basketball delivered a historic offensive explosion on Thursday at Adidas Arena, crushing Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv 113-80 in a game that set a new franchise scoring record and reshaped the play-in race narrative.

The win lifted Paris to a dominant home performance marked by pace, spacing and early shot-making, while Maccabi’s playoff push took a significant setback after struggling to match the tempo from the opening minutes.

Paris set the tone immediately, jumping out with relentless transition play and quick ball movement. The hosts surged into a double-digit lead early and never allowed Maccabi to settle defensively.

The opening quarter became the defining stretch of the night. Paris poured in 41 points, marking the highest-scoring quarter in club history and tying for the second-highest single-quarter output in EuroLeague history.

Justin Robinson controlled the rhythm throughout the game, finishing with 25 points and six assists while posting a 35 PIR. He dictated possessions in early offense and repeatedly punished Maccabi’s defensive rotations.

Sebastian Herrera added 16 points, including four triples, while Allan Dokossi contributed 14 points on efficient interior finishing. Nadir Hifi, Lamar Stevens and Amath M’Baye also reached double figures, reinforcing Paris’ balanced scoring approach.

All but one Paris player scored, underlining the depth impact in a game that never tightened after halftime.

Maccabi struggled to respond to the pace and spacing. The visitors fell behind by 23 points at the break and were already facing a steep deficit after Paris maintained scoring pressure across every rotation.

The gap widened further in the third quarter as turnovers and rushed possessions increased for the Israeli club. Paris stretched the margin beyond 30 points and closed the game without allowing a late run.

Maccabi, meanwhile, struggled to establish rhythm against the pressure defense and transition speed, falling into a double-digit turnover count that limited its half-court stability.

Paris now turns its attention to a road test against Zalgiris Kaunas on April 17, a matchup that will carry major implications for final standings positioning.

Maccabi will attempt to regroup quickly with a postponed Round 30 matchup against Hapoel Tel Aviv on April 12, followed by a home game against Virtus Bologna on April 16, both critical in determining its late-season trajectory.
