Tre Johnson: “I want to be one of the greatest players to play”

Here’s Washington Wizards rookie Tre Johnson on pre-draft concerns about his defense.

“Defense has always been like a focus of area to improve just cuz I want to be one of the greatest players to play, and that’s something you gotta be able to do. But it was never a worry for me, like nobody has ever been worried about it. Like if you want to call me up, that’s perfectly fine. It’s gon’ help my film look better, so that’s perfectly fine. I respect that if you want to call me up on defense, but all the comments about me not being able to guard, I kinda just brush it off to be honest cuz nobody’s just saying that we want to attack him the whole game.”
