Houston Rockets power forward Jabari Smith Jr. recently gave major praise to Kevin Durant for what he’s doing right now at 37-years-old as a player/teammate (averaging 24.8 PPG/4.6 RPG/3.9 APG/1.0 SPG/0.6 BPG/49.9% FG/53.5% 2-PT/39.6% 3-PT/89.2% FT in twenty games played).

(via BASKETMAN):

“He surprises me every day, just his approach to basketball. You think somebody will burn out or get tired of the game after playing for this many years and you done accomplished everything, you done did everything, you done won MVPs, you done won the Finals. You know what I mean? Just his hunger to still do more and still pour into us and the younger guys is just something that I admire. You know what I’m saying? I’m in awe every day playing with him, working with him. Just growing that brotherhood with him, it’s been special to see. And his unselfishness is something that you’ve seen over the years that’s not a surprise to nobody. But yeah, he put the work in and he just care about winning and hooping, and you kinda love that about him.”
