Rich Paul discussed the ongoing Giannis Antetokounmpo situation with the Milwaukee Bucks on Game Over with Max Kellerman and Rich Paul, emphasizing how the franchise has met the star’s expectations.

“I think the Milwaukee Bucks have done everything Giannis has asked them to do and deserve the right for Giannis to handle things in a way where they’re not put in a situation where people know he wants out—and so now we get 70 cents on the dollar,” Paul said.

Paul added that athletes often avoid discussing trade requests directly with front offices due to their public scrutiny. “Most athletes have been getting what all their life? Cheered. They never want to be booed. Never… But it’s business,” he noted.

Giannis, who leads Milwaukee with 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game, is currently sidelined with a calf strain expected to keep him out roughly four weeks. The Bucks have maintained a firm stance, telling other teams that he is not available in any trade discussions.

Despite persistent rumors, Giannis reportedly met with teammates to stress focus and leadership, urging players to concentrate on basketball rather than outside speculation. Kevin Porter Jr. and Ryan Rollins have stepped up offensively during his absence, but the Bucks remain 10-16 on the season.

For now, Milwaukee’s message is clear: Giannis Antetokounmpo is off-limits, and the team will continue to prioritize basketball over trade chatter.
