
Kon Knueppel and Cooper Flagg have been selected as the NBA’s Rookies of the Month for October and November, an achievement that comes with a historic footnote.
It marks the first time in league history that both monthly winners previously played at the same college, highlighting the exceptional talent emerging from their former program.
Knueppel earned the honor in his conference after an efficient and steady start to his rookie year.
He averaged 18.4 points and 5.7 rebounds while knocking down 41.3 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc, showcasing the shooting touch and versatility that made him a top prospect.
Flagg, meanwhile, delivered an all-around impact that secured him Rookie of the Month recognition in his conference.
Through the opening stretch of the season, he posted 16.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, displaying the blend of scoring, playmaking, and defensive potential that has defined him since his rise as a collegiate standout.
