Cade Cunningham and Nikola Jokic have been recognized as the NBA’s Players of the Month for October and November, highlighting the dominant starts both stars have delivered for their teams.

For Cunningham, the honor marks a milestone in his young career. The Detroit guard averaged 28.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 9.4 assists while leading the Pistons to an impressive 16–4 record.

Coming off his first All-NBA selection and his first postseason appearance, Cunningham has elevated both his own game and Detroit’s trajectory.

This stretch not only showcased his scoring and playmaking growth but also earned him the first Player of the Month award of his career.

Nikola Jokic claimed the Western Conference award after another powerhouse opening to the season. The Denver Nuggets went 14–5 behind Jokic’s averages of 28.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 10.9 assists.

His production once again has him at the top of the league in PER, positioning him as the early MVP favorite – a distinction that would mark the fourth MVP of his career if he secures it.

With this announcement, Jokic has now earned Player of the Month honors nine times.
