It was either going to be a Bay Area party (with the exception of the Oakland A’s, who were playing 300 feet away), or the Cleveland Cavaliers would fight back and take the series back to Ohio. Thankfully for the basketball junkies among us, it was the latter.

The Cavaliers were convincing 112-97 winners over the Golden State Warriors, but still face elimination in the early hours of Friday, trailing 3-2.

For the Euroleague players, the season is over so they took to Twitter to give us their thoughts on an electric game five where LeBron James and Kyrie Irving dazzled for 41 points each in the win.

Janning’s team-mate, Dontaye Draper was simply in awe of the Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry and especially Klay Thompson.

Acie Law, a former two-time Euroleague winner with Olympiacos and ex-Golden State Warriors guard remained firmly neutral. Instead tweeting his overall enjoyment of a thrilling first half of action where both teams were leaving it all on the floor.
