In a conversation with Mark Medina for EssentiallySports, new Los Angeles Lakers forward Jake LaRavia reflected on how much he’s enjoyed the early stages of his tenure in Los Angeles.

The free agent signee said the adjustment has been smooth and that the atmosphere around the team has stood out in a positive way.

According to LaRavia, the “vibes on our team are very good,” and he credited both the roster and the environment for making the transition easy.

“It’s been great,” LaRavia told Medina. “We have a great group of guys. Just to be able to play with AR (Austin Reaves), Luka (Doncic) and ‘Bron (LeBron James) has really been beneficial for me.

“It’s a very exciting team. It’s a great city. There are great fans. So the whole experience so far has been really good.”

LaRavia has played 4 seasons for the Grizzlies, Lakers, and Kings. He has averaged 7.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 154 regular-season games.
