Following a pair of frustrating losses in which Minnesota let opportunities slip away against both Sacramento and Phoenix, veteran point guard Mike Conley decided the team needed a reset.

On Tuesday night, he organized a team dinner aimed at giving the group space to address what had been going wrong.

As Chris Hine of The Star Tribune reported, the gathering became more than a technical breakdown of late-game mistakes – it was also a chance for players to unwind, reconnect, and talk through things in a relaxed setting.

Conley described the importance of that balance, saying, “It’s OK to eat, enjoy each other and watch other basketball games and talk basketball and not be all about business all the time. Sometimes you need that.”
