Denver Nuggets forward DaRon Holmes, selected in the first round of the 2024 draft, has only appeared in two NBA games so far this season, but he was recently recalled from the G League.

As reported by Durando, head coach David Adelman explained that there’s value in having young roster players spend time around the NBA team even when most of their on-court minutes are coming in the G League.

“The guys that are down there, we have to get them back with us and then send them back,” Adelman said.

“They need to get back with the guys, keep a relationship with the coaching staff. If you leave guys down there too long, I think it’s unfair to them as a professional player. So we’ll do the best we can to rotate them through.”
