The New York Knicks head to Barclays Center on Monday to face the Brooklyn Nets with two key players sidelined.
OG Anunoby (left hamstring strain) and Landry Shamet (right shoulder sprain) are out, forcing New York to adjust rotations against a struggling Brooklyn squad.
Jalen Brunson leads the Knicks at 28.4 points per game, with Karl-Anthony Towns adding 21.7 points and 12.5 rebounds. Mikal Bridges contributes 16.3 points and 4.7 assists per contest, while Josh Hart averages 6.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
The Nets, who have yet to release their official injury report for the game, are dealing with a 3-13 record following a 109-119 loss at the Raptors.
Michael Porter Jr. tops Brooklyn with 24.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, while Cam Thomas adds 21.4 points. Nic Claxton leads in rebounds (7.8) and assists (4.3).
The Knicks have dominated the season series so far, winning 134-98 in their first matchup on November 9. New York looks to continue that success and maintain momentum after a 113-111 win over the Mavericks and a narrow 121-133 loss to the Magic.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET at Barclays Center, with New York aiming to improve to 10-6 while the Nets look to climb out of the league’s lower standings.
